Both musicians like making music in small groups. The duo reflects one of their need to express themselves. The clear sound and the deep expression which makes vibrate the spiritual strings and the creative freedom are hardly to reach playing in a big group.
A first idea of sound existed, just like a first idea of a track list. Only the counterpart was missing.
The first meeting between Enzo Pietropaoli and Emanuele Rastelli showed quality and promptness. So this new and stimulous musical adventure began.
In the origin of both stands a kind of “philosophy of the duo”.
Duolosophy varies quite accademic moments with complete freedom. The repertoir includes original compositions of musicians like Brahms, Bach, Corelli and others, played in classical way or surprisingly revisted using the language of improvisation..
